Earning a college degree tells the world that you're a well-educated person with a broad range of academic knowledge; general education courses help you. College students have a big advantage over many other investors: time. Colleges want you to succeed, so you can choose between many different options for your gen ed courses. Admission is competitive and based on space availability. Students will finish their degrees most efficiently if they take Common Core courses that will also count toward their major or degree program.
