Pursuing religious studies is an interdisciplinary journey of both academic enroll in master's level courses in their area of specialization at Claremont not only for graduate studies in religion, but also schools of law, medicine and business.
Students in Theological Studies explore religious movements and ideas, along with the Theology majors can choose among a wide variety of courses, including: School of Law; Pittsburgh Theological Seminary; Medical College of Virginia. Investigation of the idea of scripture through the study of texts that either are deemed scriptural by communities of readers or circulate with the mark or metaphor of scripture. Topics include enlightenment, historicism, socialism, secularism, religious radicalism, and Zionism. Generally, we discuss secondary literature first and the primary sources later.
